Feng Shui Works - Positive Change IS Possible

It has been several weeks since I have reported the progress of the Wallaceburg gentleman who is working with the ancient practice of Feng Shui to clarify his life path and smooth out the bumps in life. He has not won the lottery yet or landed the job of everyone's dreams, but he has reconnected with his innate talent as an artist and has established many connections to distribute his art and help educate others in the community in his trade.

Wallaceburg gentleman wrote the following to express his thoughts about his journey thus far: “I think that Feng Shui is something that has to be worked on, it is not just a magic bullet that will make life good, you have to know what you want and think about it while you are making changes. You also have to be patient and not try to rush things, if you are the type of person who looks for others to solve your dilemmas in life then Feng Shui might not be able to help you. You have to know what you want and work with it. I have had a few stumbles along the way but I have managed to stay on the path I started a few months ago and am looking forward to see how things will unfold as I go.”

He has it right. Feng Shui will lead you to your personal path, if you have been off of it, and help you to walk along it with increased awareness. The benefits of this practice are many and wide ranging. They can include:

*

Improved health
*

New Relationships
*

Improved Relationships
*

Enhanced Career opportunities
*

Quality sleep
*

Higher energy levels
*

Fertility
*

Inspiration-New ideas
*

Thriving children
*

Quality communication
*

Personal Transformation
*

Financial Improvements
*

Living life to its fullest potential

That is a long list of benefits that can be accrued. These benefits don't just magically appear on your doorstep however, and they usually don't come in one big load – that would be a little overwhelming for most of us. Bit by bit, step by step, life change by life change, these benefits begin showing up when Feng Shui principles are applied. Feng Shui can help to bring opportunities for positive change into your life, but you have to be willing to let go of old patterns, ways of thinking and sometimes material things to make way for the new changes to occur. That journey of a thousand miles doesn't happen without the willingness to take that first step and many others that follow.

Sometimes distinct positive changes do show up quickly if a missing corner or inauspicious combination of energies is corrected. I remember a case several years ago, when the addition of a specific kind of wind chime to a relationship corner brought harmony and relationship improvements between parents and teenage children almost immediately.

Because I am a big picture thinker I have tried to run far away from Feng Shui – too many details for me. I kept being drawn back to Feng Shui over and over again as I was shown how it helps my life, and the life of my family, to flow more smoothly. Let's just say that life isn't nearly as fun, or I can't laugh at myself nearly as much when I have been ignoring my home's Feng Shui. I have lived in a few different homes since being aware of the power of the five elements and their harmonious placement, and each of those homes has taught me distinct life lessons that I needed to learn while living in them. Feng Shui has helped me to awaken to the awareness of how interconnected I am to every living thing and to the lessons that I am in the process of learning.

  1. I liked how you described the practical results of Feng Shui, how it is something that needs to be worked on and not every wish happens overnight.
